I am retired but still take care of my 2 uncles who are in their 80s. They are snow birds so when they are home in Michigan they have their family and when they are here in Florida i take care of them. I cook for them take them to run errands. we go out to dinner sometimes also. i keep them busy by going to the senior baseball games witch one of my Uncles plays in. sometimes i have a hard time keeping up with that uncle. I have learned being around them not to procrastinate. I find myself doing things as soon as i can you never know what might happen and its better to just do things when you can and have time them to try and catch up.

I love ALL arts/crafting. I have been paper crafting and swapping for over 20 years. I mostly do paper crafts but i really love all kinds of crafting and art . Mixed media is fun as well as making miniatures I have truly dabbled in just about every type of craft you can think of have 3 children for whom I have made crafts with when they were small. i hand made all of their Halloween costumes and helped they with crafty homework. I love Victorian and vintage everything! In fact my home is full of vintage things from my great grandfathers dresser to a vanity i restored that i found at a resale shop for $10.00.

My favorite colors are pink and mint. I like all holidays, but I don't like the traditional colors for them.So for halloween Unless it's spooky, I would prefer it not to be traditional like ghost and pumpkins. I'd rather it be something vintage. For thanksgiving, instead of orange purple green, I prefer blue, pink, mauve burgundy, and for for Christmas, I prefer pink and mint, opposed to red and green. I also like anything shabby chic in design. I prefer pastel or dark colors opposed to bright colors.

I would love to travel someday. I would love to go to Europe and see all the castles And all of the other old things that they have that are not found in the United States. I would have loved to live back in the 1700s or before. I would not of liked to be poor then but the way they lived with dressing up everyday and the balls and values they had. We could all learn from how they lived back then I think.

I don't really read much anymore but when i did it was mostly classic books. I have read all the Jane Austin books most of Dickinson books and pretty must anything from that era i could get my hands on. I also have red a few new others like George RR Martin. I am a huge fam of the song of Fire and Ice, better none as Game of Thrones. I am excited that they are making more shows that are based on Martins boos.

My favorite movie of all times use to be Ever after but now i think i like Pride and Prejudice. To me it is funny that even though it was written in the 1700s its still relevant to days way people fell. I love a good love story where the man dose so much for the women he loves and did not brag abut doing it its done without looking for praise.

I love Game of Thrones with all thwe intrigue, The Gilded Age for the same reason., Downton Abbey is also really good and most any period dramas. there is a new show on Apple TV called Chief of War ( not normally my kind of show) that is also really good, its a bit hard at first to follow because of the subtitles but worth sticking with.

I do not have a favorite craft I honestly love them all as long as can put a vintage spin on it Ill make it! or try my best. i like making things that have a soft feminin feel to it. Pink is a color you will find in most of my work unless the person I am making it for do not like pink that is. I really enjoy making people happy with my art/crafting. I tend to over give in my swaps. its normal for me to send some of the things i sued to make the craft along with my swap like the paper i used or some embellishments. I typically dont join a swap until I have all others done and start working on that swap the day i sign up.
