Does everything on the ATC have to be recycled (ie--could I use brads to attach things)?

Not every single thing has to be recycled. You may use brads. Just make sure that you use a well padded envelope so there won't be any damage while it's being mailed.

OK, thanks. I saw someone suggest using craft foam to pad envies, so that's what I've been using and it seems to work well.
