Description: | |
ONE partner, USA only. Because this is a craft-related swap, postage will likely be over 2oz and either USPS small mail or heavier envelope rate will apply. It can get unexpectedly expensive to send overseas. Also, if your package is not flat or is too heavy for the paper used for the envelope, it may not be machineable. If it is more than 1/4" thick and not completely flat, including tiny bumpiness from rhinestones or a paperclip, it is not machineable. There is an extra charge. Please make sure it's mailed appropriately. <3Make one item based on a craft or project from a Youtube video or something the other person can copy, like a tutorial that has clear photos and instructions. You can make cards, paper dolls, sewing books, a fabric ornament, junk journal items, whatever. The project must include handmade elements. No running off printables or sticker-slapping something. Since the project might take thought, getting stuff together, have to be made between 'life stuff', etc., it might be a good idea to message your partner when you send your mail, to know about when to expect it. It is also a good idea to take a photo of the item expected in case it goes missing or becomes damaged in the mail. Try your best! Include your name, the Youtube creator's name/channel name, and what the project is. Include the name of the tutorial so your partner can find your video. When you get an item, remember that the other person probably also did their best. Their best may not be the same as your skill level. Please rate well. Remember that all responses should be on positive aspects of art received: did you like the colour palette used? Do you recognise a camera-related visual effect, like the 'rule of 3s'? Let the artist know! The people on Youtube are good enough and well-practiced at what they show on camera, and that usually takes years to get that good. This swap assumes that you have not, in fact, been doing ANY of this stuff for years. Have fun! Make mistakes! Get messy! And then mail the item out! Please do not comment on any swap pages. We do not get notifications of these. Message the swap host directly. |
