An easy, creative project for beginners. "Meander" is a winding path, and you'll see why this little book (or journal) is called one if you don't already know. There's a wonderful tutorial by Helen Griffin that teaches how to make this adorable 7-page journal. The final size will be slightly larger than 3"x3". She also shows how to make the front and back covers, cuts and folds, pockets, inserts, etc...

(1) The pages must be made with a single sheet of 12"x12" paper folded and cut as shown in the tutorial. (2) Each page must have a pocket with an insert. (3) It must have a front and a back cover.

You can be as creative as you like and embellish all the pages, you can embellish some of the pages, or you can decide to leave the inside completely blank for your partner to decide the creative direction they might want the book to go. It's up to you!
