Haiku: A traditional Japanese haiku is a three-line poem with seventeen syllables, written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. Let’s brighten someone’s day with a little haiku on a postcard! This is a simple swap, so there isn’t a huge amount of time between the signup cutoff date and send date. Example: You send a haiku You put it on a postcard Your partner is glad :)

Is this a haiku we have written ourselves or a haiku by a published poet or any haiku? And should postcard be store bought or can it be handmade etc?

It can be handmade or store bought. And you can make up the haiku or it can be from someone else. I’m going to write one, bc they are fun! :)
